Every feature on MEDVi's live site (home.medvi.org, scraped fresh) compared against AXOMED v19. For each missing item: why it wasn't built yet and the concrete solution + priority. Honest, no fluff.
MEDVi's entire homepage is engineered around social proof. This is where the biggest gap lives.
| Feature | MEDVi | AXOMED v19 | Why not built yet / Solution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Patient-count social proof | "Join 500,000+ MEDVi patients" hero pill | PARTIAL | AXOMED shows "Join 10,000+ patients" — a placeholder. Why: we have 0 real patients so far; the number is aspirational. Solution (week 1): show real counts from the backend (live users/leads) or change to "Trusted by leading providers" until real patients exist. Never inflate. |
| Category grid (Weight Loss, Men's, Women's) | Weight Loss / Peptides / Men's / Women's image cards | HAVE | AXOMED matches with Weight Loss, Men's, Women's, Skin & Hair + Mental + Nutrition. Solution: keep; add Peptides card later (see §3). |
| Marquee trust strip | Licensed Providers · 100% Online · Clear pricing · Shipped to door | HAVE | AXOMED marquee matches word-for-word. Why: already built in v5+. Solution: none needed. |
| Doctor credentials & verification (PMDC numbers) | "Licensed Medical Providers" + OpenLoop Health network of US-licensed doctors | PARTIAL CRITICAL | AXOMED now has a public doctors.html (PMDC numbers, qualifications, verify links). Why not sooner: real PMDC numbers require real doctors; we used realistic formats pending onboarding. Solution (1–2 weeks): sign 3–5 real Pakistani doctors, replace demo numbers with their real PMDC registrations, link to pmdc.pk register search. |
| Real patient testimonials with names, photos, ratings | ~15 named testimonials with photos + review-rating images | PARTIAL CRITICAL | AXOMED has a testimonials section but generic cards. Why: fabricated reviews are illegal (Pakistani consumer law) and ruin investor due diligence — we waited for real patients. Solution (1–3 weeks): collect 10+ consented testimonials from pilot patients (WhatsApp text + photo consent) + Trustpilot/Google Reviews embed. Never use fake reviews. |
| Money-back guarantee badge | "MEDVi guarantee" + icon | HAVE | AXOMED: 14-day money-back, no hidden fees, cancel anytime (verified). Solution: surface as a visible badge strip near pricing (MEDVi places it bottom with icons). |
| Free/expedited delivery badge | "Free, expedited delivery" | HAVE | AXOMED: "24h average delivery time" stat + discreet doorstep delivery on category pages. Solution: none needed; add free-shipping threshold once real ops run. |
| Doctor-led plans & coaching badge | "Doctor-led plans & coaching" + care coaching team section | HAVE | AXOMED: "Free dietitian visits & care coaching included" + doctor-led program copy. Solution: add coaching team names/roles (certified medical assistant, registered dietitian) like MEDVi — builds trust. |
| No hidden fees badge | "No hidden fees" | HAVE | AXOMED: "No hidden fees, cancel anytime" in guarantee + FAQ. Solution: none. |
| Before/after results gallery | Program images + real patient review photos throughout | MISSING IMPORTANT | Why: stock before/after photos are misleading advertising under Pakistani law; we need real consented results. Solution (2–4 weeks, after first real patients): collect consented before/after photos + progress stats with "results vary" disclaimer. |
| Regulatory / accreditation badge (LegitScript) | LegitScript "Verify Approval" badge in footer | MISSING IMPORTANT | Why: LegitScript is US-only; Pakistan's equivalents are DRAP, PMDC and SECP — which require real licensing/registration. Solution (1–3 weeks, gated): once licensed pharmacies + PMDC doctors onboard, display "DRAP-licensed pharmacy partners", "PMDC-registered providers", SECP number in footer. Never show badges we don't have. |
| Phone number + email + physical address | help@medvi.org · (323) 690-1564 · 131 Continental Dr, Newark DE | PARTIAL | AXOMED: WhatsApp + email + "Model Town, Lahore". Why no landline: WhatsApp-first is the Pakistan norm and the founder's number is the hotline. Solution (week 1): publish the WhatsApp number in hero + sticky CTA (done in v19) and add a response SLA ("reply within 15 min, 9am–11pm PKT"). |
| Feature | MEDVi | AXOMED v19 | Why not built yet / Solution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online assessment with clinical screening | Multi-step quiz with exclusionary criteria; clinician decides after checkout | PARTIAL CRITICAL | AXOMED has the assessment quiz and saves answers to the backend. Why no clinical exclusion rules: they must be written/signed by real medical reviewers. Solution (1–2 weeks with a doctor): add screening flags (e.g. pregnancy, severe kidney/liver disease, allergy) that auto-route high-risk cases to a doctor call. |
| 1:1 physician guidance (teleconsult) | "1:1 physician guidance" + clinician visit after checkout | PARTIAL | AXOMED: doctor reviews intake, issues e-sign prescription (doctor dashboard). Why no live video yet: Phase 3 roadmap includes Jitsi video consultation. Solution (2–3 weeks): build video consult + WhatsApp call-back link; async doctor review already works. |
| e-Prescriptions after consultation | Prescriptions issued only after online consultation | HAVE | AXOMED doctor portal: pending intake review → e-sign Rx → pharmacy. Solution: none needed. |
| Pharmacy delivery network | 3 named partner pharmacies (Triad Rx, RedRock, Beaker) with addresses/phones | MISSING IMPORTANT | AXOMED pharmacy portal fulfils orders but names no real partners. Why: DRAP licensing for e-pharmacy is a legal requirement and takes time. Solution (after licensing): publish DRAP-licensed partner pharmacies (names + licence numbers) on site + terms page. |
| Lab tests & quarterly labs review | Labs review with doctor included in coaching | PARTIAL | AXOMED has a Labs Portal (reports, appointments) wired to backend lab endpoints. Why no real lab partners: requires signed lab contracts (Chughtai, etc.). Solution (Phase 3): partner with a national lab network, wire real report delivery. |
| Care coaching & nutrition support | Care coaching team: certified medical assistants + registered dietitians | HAVE | AXOMED: free dietitian visits & care coaching included (index verified). Solution: show the coaching team on a page (names/roles) to match MEDVi's trust play. |
| 24/7 support | "Unlimited 24/7 support" | PARTIAL IMPORTANT | AXOMED: WhatsApp-first support, no published SLA. Why: 24/7 live staffing is a cost decision for the founder. Solution (week 1): publish "response within 15 min, 9am–11pm PKT; 24/7 for urgent order issues" + hero WhatsApp CTA (done in v19). |
| Patient portal (track, check in, manage care) | "Everything, all in one place" portal | HAVE | AXOMED: full patient portal (subscription, Rx, appointments, activity). Solution: wire progress charts to real measurements once live patients exist. |
| Feature | MEDVi | AXOMED v19 | Why not built yet / Solution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doctor-guided GLP-1 weight loss (Ozempic/Wegovy/compounded) | Flagship: "Prescription to fast, effective GLP-1" | MISSING CRITICAL | AXOMED's weight-loss program exists but doesn't name GLP-1 meds. Why: GLP-1 availability in Pakistan is regulated (DRAP), import/stock uncertain, and dosing must be clinician-led. Solution (2–4 weeks, with a doctor): add a "GLP-1 Program" section with eligibility, DRAP-approved sourcing note, and doctor-managed dosing — display "medication subject to clinical eligibility". |
| Peptides & longevity line | "Coming Soon" peptide therapy page | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: peptide import/compounding in Pakistan is legally unclear (DRAP) and even MEDVi marks it "Coming Soon". Solution (post-launch): revisit after legal review; not needed for investor demo. |
| MEDVi Meals (meal prep subscription) | Chef-made, portion-controlled weekly meals | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: needs a food partner + cold-chain logistics + HACCP compliance — heavy ops, low demo value. Solution (post-launch): partner with a meal-prep kitchen in Lahore; add as add-on storefront. |
| Doctor-formulated supplements | "Coming Soon" supplement line | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: needs a DRAP-registered manufacturer and quality testing. Solution (post-launch): private-label 2–3 supplements (e.g. vitamin D, omega-3) after core launch. |
| Men's health (hormones, energy, performance) | Dedicated men's funnel (quad.medvi.org) | HAVE | AXOMED: men's-health.html with treatments, products, testimonials. Solution: none. |
| Women's health (hormone balance, weight, hair, skin) | "Whole-body care for her balance" | HAVE | AXOMED: womens-health.html (PCOS, hormones, menopause, birth control). Solution: none. |
| Hair restoration (serum, regrowth) | "Coming Soon" hair regrowth serum | HAVE | AXOMED: skin-hair.html with finasteride/minoxidil products. Solution: none — ahead of MEDVi here. |
| Skincare (prescription-strength) | Skincare program page | HAVE | AXOMED: skin-hair.html covers acne, aging, sensitivity. Solution: none. |
| Pricing transparency | Prices hidden behind funnels | HAVE | AXOMED is MORE transparent: per-program prices + flat membership. Solution: keep; add "what's included vs not" under each price card. |
| Insurance / copay / HSA-FSA | "Subject to insurance and copays eligibility" | N/A | Why not built: Pakistani private health insurance rarely covers telehealth. Solution: use JazzCash/Easypaisa/card instead (already in pharmacy portal). Add corporate "reimbursable with company health plan" copy only when B2B partnerships happen. |
| Referral program | Not shown on homepage | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: not on MEDVi's homepage either; low priority pre-launch. Solution (post-launch): "Refer a friend — Rs. 1,000 credit" via WhatsApp share links. |
| Loyalty / rewards | Not shown on homepage | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: no critical need pre-PMF. Solution (later): subscription perks (free labs, priority doctor slots) instead of points. |
| Mobile app (iOS/Android download) | Web-first; no app-store download on homepage | N/A | Why: MEDVi doesn't have one either — web-first works. Solution (later): PWA installable in a day; native app only after product-market fit. |
| Feature | MEDVi | AXOMED v19 | Why not built yet / Solution |
|---|---|---|---|
| FAQ section | Scattered Q&A in funnels | HAVE | AXOMED has a full FAQ (22 items: eligibility, pricing, delivery, refunds) — ahead of MEDVi. Solution: link FAQ anchors from header nav. |
| Blog / educational content | Long-form funnel copy, no visible blog | MISSING NICE-TO-HAVE | Why: neither site has a real blog; SEO value only later. Solution (month 2+): 5–10 SEO articles ("GLP-1 in Pakistan", "Weight loss without a gym") to capture Google traffic. |
| Notifications (WhatsApp/email) | Prescription updates, support messaging | HAVE | AXOMED backend: WhatsApp Cloud API + Resend email receipts + cron reminders (Asia/Karachi). Solution: wire real keys when founder connects WhatsApp Business API. |
| Multi-language / Urdu | English only | N/A | AXOMED is English-only by founder decision; Urdu toggle is Phase 4 roadmap. Solution: optional later — not a gap vs MEDVi. |
| Accessibility (WCAG) | Not visibly audited | PARTIAL | AXOMED: semantic HTML, aria labels on menus, mobile-first. Why no full WCAG audit: not yet budgeted. Solution (later): run Lighthouse/WAVE audit; fix contrast + focus states. |
| AI-generated content disclosure | Discloses AI-generated imagery/actors/models in footer | MISSING IMPORTANT | Why: oversight — not built yet. Solution (week 1): add a footer note: "Some website images may be AI-generated or stock. Testimonials are only from real, consented patients." Protects us legally. |
| Legal pages (Terms / Privacy / Refund) | 7 pages (incl. California-specific + Bill of Rights) | HAVE | AXOMED: terms.html, privacy.html, refund.html — written for Pakistan law (PECA 2016, Consumer Protection Act, Drugs Act 1976). Solution: add dedicated "Medical Consent" page (currently links to terms) + "Bill of Rights" page when clinical ops start. |
| Pharmacy partner disclosures (names + addresses) | Triad Rx, RedRock, Beaker — full details in footer | MISSING IMPORTANT | Why: requires real DRAP-licensed pharmacy partners. Solution (after licensing): publish partners with licence numbers — trust signal + legal requirement for e-pharmacy in Pakistan. |
| Clinical disclaimers (results vary, consult doctor) | Extensive FDA/compounding disclaimers | HAVE | AXOMED footer: results-vary + consult-professional disclaimers on every page. Solution: extend with DRAP/PMDC wording once licences land. |
AXOMED v19 matches MEDVi on the core care journey (assessment → doctor → prescription → pharmacy → portal), and beats it on pricing transparency, FAQ and hair/skin depth. What's missing falls into two buckets:
What we will never do: display fake badges, fake reviews, unlicensed pharmacy claims, or inflated patient counts. Everything goes live only with real partnerships — that's what makes this demo an honest foundation for investors.
